Ten years with the oncology nurses. Over sixty of them. And a course they now run themselves.
This is not a workshop. It is the longest relationship on this site: a decade alongside the members of the Israeli Society for the Advancement of Oncology Nursing.

Why a decade is the point
Anyone can run a good day. A good day is a real thing and I sell them. But a good day is also the easiest thing in this profession to fake, because nobody is there a year later to check.
Ten years is checkable. Over sixty nurses have come through this, and the association keeps asking me back.
What the work actually is
Getting a clinician onto a stage
A nurse presenting at a conference is not a speaker by trade. She is an expert being asked to do a second job in public.
Clean messages, and nothing else
Cutting until only what has to be said is left. Whoever wants the rest will come and ask afterwards.
Handing the method over
The end of this kind of work is not more of it. I helped them build an innovation course, and they lead it.
What they say
“I have worked with you for many, many years. I can see you in every single talk. You are part of us.”
The line I keep
Oncology nursing is work done next to people at the hardest point of their lives. I am there so that what these nurses already know reaches the room it needs to reach.
Your people know things the room never hears.
That is usually not a knowledge problem. Tell me what is coming up.
